HELP FOR HEROES SKYDIVE

It finally happened, the jump went ahead.

After being postponed in August, the parachute jump to raise money for Help for Heroes went ahead at Headcorn on Sunday 9 October, where I raised £650 for the charity.

After many stresses and strains over whether I could jump, I had not been given a medical certificate as I am over the age; a dash down to William Harvey hospital Ashford was required. I was finally given the all clear after a short examination and off we went.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in raising the money for such a great charity.

Special thanks goes to Paul Harris for giving up his day and ensuring I dropped from 1200ft.
